/Crested Butte Wildflower Festival - July 5-14
The wildflower capital of Colorado, Crested Butte, has celebrated their natural beauty every year since 1986. This festival hosts over 200 wildflower events, classes, and instructor-led hikes all over Crested Butte.

Steamboat Springs Hot Air Balloon Festival July 13-14
From Bald Eagle Lake, watch the most colorful hot air balloons set sail over Yampa Valley. Rise and shine as you’ll get up close and personal with the balloons as they start to inflate between 6:00-6:30 a.m. Balloon departure is between 6:30 and 9:30 a.m. Best of all, this event is free! Note, there is no parking at the lake so you’ll want to coordinate with the complimentary shuttles (shuttle and parking info provided in the link below).
It’s not just about the balloons either - The 45th annual Art in the Park, among other activities, will fill your days with fun. Click here for the entire weekend schedule.
Denver Water Lantern Festival - July 20
Hosted at Carpenter Park in Thornton (3498 E 112th Ave), this event is the perfect date night, evening with friends, or something unique to do with your whole family.
Light up the water with your lantern (included in price), with your own personal message, drawing or sentiments, and reflect as you watch them set sail.

Lyons RockyGrass Festival - July 26-28
If you like Bluegrass, you won’t want to miss this event. The 47th annual RockyGrass Festival is one of the best of its kind.
This festival does typically sell out, so be sure to get your tickets early! If you don’t make it this year, put it on your radar for next summer.

Denver Summer Brew Fest - July 27
Hosted at Mile High Station, the Denver Brew Fest offers over 100 beers and ciders from 40 different breweries, along with live music and food trucks. Click here for all the details!

Telluride Jazz Festival - August 9-11
Where music meets mountains. Any excuse to visit Telluride is a good one in my opinion. Nestled beneath the San Juans, this festival brings together music lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Breckenridge International Festival of Arts - August 9-18
